Bus after paint, wet sand and polish.
Well after a lot of extra unexpected work, the bus shines! Not like a brand new car yet but maybe after a wax it will get a little more shiny. After the paint the van looked pretty bad and had some major orange peel on the red coat. I learned from a friend that many times you have to wet sand and buff out the finish. I did just that with 2000 grit sandpaper and followed it with a turtle wax rubbing compound and then a turtle wax polish. It took about a week of working a few hours at a time and now it looks pretty darn good. It is what I had hoped for. YES!
